Surgeon Information KENDALL S. WAGNER, M.D.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree at the University of California Santa
Barbara, Dr. Wagner attended graduate school in medical physiology at the
University of Southern California. Dr. Wagner obtained a Master’s of Science
degree in Medical Physiology, and following that, attended medical school at
the
University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. He served an internship
as well as a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Los Angeles County-USC
Medical Center. During his residency program, Dr. Wagner was honored with
the Lowman Award for outstanding research in the field of orthopaedic surgery.
At the conclusion of his residency program, Dr. Wagner served a fellowship in
foot and ankle orthopaedics, also through the University of Southern California.
His memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the
Orange County Medical Association, and the Western Orthopaedic Association.
He had served as the President of the Orange County Chapter of the Western
Orthopaedic Association and has also been elected Chairman of the Ethics
Committee of the Orange County Medical Association.
Dr. Wagner has been in active practice at St. Jude Medical Center since 1984.
During that time, he has served as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery,
Chief of Staff Elect, and has been elected by his peers as Chief of the Medical
Staff of St. Jude Medical Center for 2004.
