Surgeon Information MICHAEL A. SAMUELSON, M.D.
Michael Samuelson was born at St. Jude Hospital and grew up in Fullerton.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at UCLA, and at the
Medical College of Wisconsin he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega
medical honor society. During residency at Los Angeles County–USC Medical
Center he was awarded several honors, including Orthopaedic intern of the
Year and the Marshall Schiff Award for exemplary resident. He completed a
fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy with the S.O.A.R. Group at
Stanford Medical Center. He was recently voted doctor with best bedside
manner by the nursing staff at St. Jude Medical Center.
His memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons,
the California Orthopaedic Association, the Orange County Medical Association,
American Medical Association, and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Samuelson specializes in arthroscopy and sports medicine.
